Iconic to Sydney Harbour, the vintage ferry Proclaim is renowned for providing unrivalled viewing for Sydney’s greatest on-water events. Proclaim was built in 1939 by boat builders Morrison and Sinclair at Longnose Point, Birchgrove in Sydney Harbour. The ferry’s maiden voyage was carrying spectators at the Australia Day Sydney Harbour Regatta on 26 January 1940. The classic ferry Proclaim is a masterpiece of traditional boatbuilding techniques, and is meticulously maintained to ensure that this important piece of Sydney’s working harbour history endures.
