A true icon of Sydney Harbour, Radar was built in 1946. A classic timber cruiser, Radar has a strong social connection with Sydney Harbour and for decades she plied routes along the Parramatta and Lane Cove rivers, and was the spectator ferry for the Sydney Flying Squadron 18-foot skiff races. The spectator ferries were periodically raided by the Gaming Squad on suspicion of harbouring illegal gambling activities, and in 1972, Radar became the first Sydney ferry to be granted a liquor licence.
With this historical vessel, Radar is the perfect spectator ferry for on-water events, as well as hosting corporate events and large group transfers
