Celebrate Australia Day with an unforgettable cruise. Get front row seats to events such as the fireworks displays, regattas, fly-overs, and ferrython.
An Australia Day cruise on January 26th is an exciting way to commemorate the arrival of the First Fleet at Port Jackson in 1788. Australians gather to honour the nation’s rich culture, history, and achievements.
Here’s what you can expect, depending on the vessel you choose:
• Festive atmosphere: celebrate in style with onboard with Australian-themed decorations and entertainment that capture the spirit of the day.
• BBQ and Australian cuisine: many cruises feature classic Australian BBQ menus, including favourites like snags (sausages), lamb chops, and vegemite sandwiches, and, of course prawns!
• Live entertainment: enjoy live music, performances, and, on select cruises, cultural shows that celebrate Australia’s diverse heritage.
• Themed activities: join in fun games, contests, and other themed activities that add excitement to the day.
• Commemorative events: some cruises include ceremonies or speeches highlighting the historical significance of Australia Day.
Australia Day cruises vary in duration and inclusions, so contact a Prestige Harbour Cruise specialist to find the option that best suits you and your guests. Be sure to book early, as these popular cruises fill up quickly.
