Join this small-group, truly wild adventure to witness the incredible sight of humpback whales launching themselves out of the water with their powerful flukes (tail fins). You may also encounter a variety of other marine life, including dolphins, minke whales, orcas, and seals.

Departing from Darling Harbour, the cruise takes you through Sydney Harbour, under the Harbour Bridge, and past the Opera House before venturing beyond Sydney Heads into the open ocean. With our expert and passionate crew, you’ll witness the annual migration of majestic humpback whales up close.

Each year, more than 40,000 humpback whales migrate along Australia’s east coast. From May to August, the whales travel north from their Antarctic feeding grounds to the warm tropical waters to give birth. From August onwards, they begin their journey south, often accompanied by their calves, returning to the rich feeding grounds of the Southern Ocean.
