Planning Your Sydney Harbour Christmas Party
November and December are the busiest months on the harbour, and every good Friday or Saturday slot disappears fast. Booking your corporate boat hire in Sydney early for the end-of-year Christmas party is the single best thing you can do to lock in your preferred date.
Food and drinks keep the party going. Most vessels offer fully catered packages with buffets and open bars. You can also find BYO options on specific boats if you want a more casual afternoon. We can match a boat to your exact budget and group size.
Choosing the Right Vessel
Your guest list determines your boat options. Here is a quick guide to matching your team to the right vessel type.
- Catamarans: Great for casual team drinks of 20 to 40 people with plenty of deck space and stable cruising.
- Luxury Yachts: Perfect for executive entertaining or VIP groups needing premium dining and high-end finishes.
- Function Glass Boats: The best choice for large company parties of 100 or more guests, featuring a massive dance floor and panoramic harbour views.
Every charter includes an experienced captain and crew. You just step aboard and enjoy the sunshine.

We can pick up your group from most public wharves around Sydney Harbour. Popular spots include King Street Wharf, Casino Wharf and Rose Bay. We'll help you choose the best location for your team.
Should we book for the afternoon or evening?
Afternoon cruises are very popular for corporate teams wanting a relaxed lunch in the sun. Evening charters offer spectacular views of the city lights and a great party atmosphere.
How long should we hire the boat for?
Most groups book a 4-hour charter. This gives you enough time to cruise past the Opera House, enjoy a meal and anchor in a quiet bay.
