Easing Into the New Year on the Water
You want your first day of the year to be perfect, and our role is to ensure your cruise runs exactly to plan. We don't just book you a boat. We draw on our long-standing relationships with vessel owners to secure the best options for your group, matched to your headcount and vision, whether that's a relaxed recovery cruise or an energetic party on the waves.
We focus exclusively on professionally crewed charters. You'll have a licensed captain and crew on board, which means you don't need to worry about navigation, safety, or harbour rules. This allows you and your guests to enjoy your catering or drinks while the professionals manage the busy harbour traffic for you.
Planning Your New Year's Day Celebration
Success on the water starts with choosing the right vessel for your group size. Our fleet ranges from small yachts perfect for couples to large catamarans with plenty of space for a bigger group. If you'd like to extend your celebration overnight, a limited number of smaller yachts sleep four to six guests comfortably. For bigger gatherings, we have access to luxury motor cruisers and super yachts built for social events.
New Year's Day is one of the busiest days on the harbour, so the earlier you share your guest numbers, the more options you'll have. We'll run you through BYO versus catered packages and make sure your vessel has the audio, deck space, and amenities your day calls for.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I drive the boat myself on New Year's Day?
No, we don’t offer self-drive or self-skippered charters. All our bookings include a professional, licensed captain and crew to ensure safety and full compliance.
How many people can fit on a hire boat?
Our fleet is diverse. We have small yachts for couples and large catamarans that comfortably host bigger groups for the day. If overnight accommodation is part of your plan, only a small number of vessels offer this, generally smaller yachts sleeping four to six guests.
Does the boat have a sound system?
Most vessels are equipped with high-quality sound systems that you can connect to. We will confirm the specific audio features of your chosen boat before you book.
Are food and drinks included in the price?
Most of our charters allow you to BYO food and drinks, or we can arrange a fully catered package through the vessel owner.
How early should I book my New Year's Day boat hire Sydney?
Book as early as possible. Availability for New Year's Day is limited, and the best boats are snapped up well in advance.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The harbour remains a fantastic place to celebrate even with a bit of cloud. We stay in close contact with vessel owners to ensure your safety and comfort if conditions change.
